Carestream Health has unveiled new medical imaging and healthcare IT products at this year’s Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) conference in the US.
The company showcased its OnSight 3D extremity system, digital X-ray detectors, and two premium ultrasound systems at the event.
It also exhibited radiography/fluoroscopy platform and a self-service kiosk that will allow patients to print or share their radiology reports and medical images.
Developed for orthopaedic exams, the OnSight 3D is a compact cone beam CT system that provides lower-dose 3D imaging technology to capture weight-bearing and other types of patient extremity images.
Carestream DRX Plus detectors provide effective digital X-ray images for healthcare providers, while Carestream DRX-Excel will carry out contrast exams using fluoroscopy that can be associated with a patient’s radiography image.
The firm’s Touch Prime family of ultrasound systems will provide sonographers and clinicians with better visualization of small structures and contrast differences in tissue for radiology, OB/GYN, musculoskeletal and vascular applications.
