What Are You Thankful For? | Legacy MEDSearch 2022

Uncategorized November 23, 2022

The holiday season always brings a time of family, friends, good food, and also reflection on the year. This year as we are in the season of giving thanks, we asked our team what everyone was thankful for this holiday season.

Here is what they had to say!

“I’m thankful for my family; my wife and our two kids.” – Sean Wilcox, Practice Leader

“This year I am so thankful for my family, my work family, and my wonderful fiancé.” – Melissa King, Digital Marketing Manager

“I’m thankful for my family at home and at Legacy! I’m rounding off at my first full year as a Recruiter and have been enjoying every step of the way. Couldn’t ask for a better work family to support me alongside my family at home!” – Corey Stephenson, Recruiter

“This year, I wanted to share my gratitude for Corey Stephenson being a part of our team. Corey always has a big smile and is ready to take on any and all challenges. He does everything with full dedication and integrity. I wish him the greatest success and look forward to working with him on many more projects in the new year.” – Arshad Alam, Practice Leader

“I’m thankful for my little side kick!” – Joy Celebre, Practice Leader

“I am thankful for wonderful family, friends, colleagues, weather, and a competitive labor market!” – Chris Miclot, Partner and General Manager

“I’m thankful for finally not spending my Thanksgiving studying for finals.” – John White, Talent Sourcing Manager

“I’m grateful that the world is full of people who are working to make it a better place. (Nepali girls fundraising for their education in Changunarayan, Nepal)” – Christine Moss, Director of Operations

“The word Family has such a broad meaning for me during this time of year. Our family, shown here is a magnificent mix of blood family, in-laws, “out-laws” and those who are family by choice. This picture includes my husband and children, our bonus children, nieces and nephews, my former husband, his family, as well as my father’s sweet lady friend who has been his companion for several years since my mother passed away from Alzheimer’s in 2019. I love them all deeply and unconditionally. I count among my family the myriads of friends who go before me and stand behind me when I falter, including those with whom I share life and work.

Thanksgiving is also a time to honor and remember those who are not at the dinner table this year: my wonderfully talented brother, Don Waters who passed away a few months ago, my mom, and our Godly father-in-law, Harry Rutledge. With time, grief is starting to mellow into reminiscences of memories tucked forever away in a safe place in my mind.

But there is a new voice at the table this year in the form of an 18-pound grandbaby who giggles and coos and lights up my world.

Happy Thanksgiving to all from our family.” – Paula Rutledge, Founder
